How much does Sister Circles membership cost?

Sister Circles membership dues are $450 per year. This fee covers the cost of programming, including matching you into your Glow Group, access to the Peadbo platform for goals and relationship management, and quarterly City Meetups with other Sister Circles in your local area. You’ll also receive a Baddie Box welcome gift as a new member ($50 value!).

Who should join Sister Circles?

Because we will be matching you into a Glow Group based on your career domain and interests (ie. cybersecurity, ux design, tc.), Sister Circles memberships are best suited for women of color who have a strong sense of their career path and just need a strong support system to grow to their next level. You can be at any level on the career ladder, from entry to executive and we will find you a great group to match into with varying levels of experience! We recommend that if you’re transitioning into tech, you should not still be in the career exploration phase, but have committed to a path and are either in a training program for your new career of have recently completed it. Sister Circles is also great for college students who are in their final year or about to graduate, as Glow Groups are a great resource to support your transition into the workforce!

What is the time commitment for Sister Circles?

You will be matched into a Glow Group for a 1-year period. Within the year, you are required to commit to monthly 1-hour virtual or in-person peer mentorship sessions. The location and dates or mentorship meetings are set by your group. Glow Groups are free to meet more than 1x per month, and we encourage you to hold in-person meetups and hangouts to build lasting relationships outside of mentorship!

Why is there a one-year commitment?

Glow Groups only work when everyone commits! You’ll stay with in your Glow Group for a full year, so you really build a bond with one another and peer mentor each other to success.

Do you have to live in a specific city to join Sister Circles?

Sister Circles are open to Baddies based anywhere in United States. We aim to match you into a Glow Group based on your career path/interests, and your location. Each Glow Group will have Baddies who are at various stages of their careers, from entry level to executive. However, it is important to note that we will host quarterly Sister Circle networking meetups in major metropolitan cities like NYC, D.C. and Atlanta, and you may need to travel to attend these if you do not reside in one of these cities.
